Heading into the summer months the bananas will start to ripen quicker and we will have strawberries galore, what better time to pull out this recipe for a satisfying chocolate fix. All you need to do is stock up on some fresh ground Matakana Nut Butter.
Our kids love to make this 3-ingredient chocolate brownie. And being gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and refined sugar-free it can cater for everyone! We like to make it with our Almond butter the best.
Easy Peasy Nut Butter Brownie
3 ripe bananas (about 1 cup mashed)
½ cup of Matakana Nut butter
¼ cup cocoa powder or raw cacao powder
1. Preheat the oven to 175C. Grease a small 15cm x 20cm baking tin or 6-8 cupcake tin.
2. In a large bowl, add the mashed banana, nut butter and cocoa powder and blend well, leaving banana lumps.
3. Pour mixture into greased tin and bake for around 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
4. Remove from oven and allow to cool before slicing or removing from muffin tins.
Serve with coconut yoghurt and strawberries.
